Camisasca and ECRM part ways due to changing market

SOLON, Ohio (BRAIN) — ECRM, the Ohio company that bought Lance Camisasca's PressCamp, has shut down the operation effective Wednesday due primarily to the ongoing weakness in the bicycle and outdoor markets.

But a robust early selling season for the original version of the lightweight 27.5-inch, 115-millimeter-travel bike, which debuted here at PressCamp three years ago, accelerated the time table.

PARK CITY, Utah (BRAIN) — Canyon Bicycles has decided to pull out of next month's Bike PressCamp, saying it's too busy to participate this year. 

Organizers of the PressCamp noted that several new brands — including Campagnolo, Zipp and Pivot — have recently decided to attend the event, however.

SOLON, Ohio (BRAIN) — Bike PressCamp organizer ECRM said Thursday that it saw a surge in exhibitor signups last month coming out of the Sea Otter Classic, and now has 21 brands set to attend the June 19-23 event.
