VOREPPE, France (BRAIN) — Time Sport is bringing out two new pedal designs this fall: The XPRO road pedal and the Speciale 12 enduro pedal. 

The XPRO is built off Time's Xpresso pedal design, with a wider platform and lightweight aerodynamic design.

It will be available in three versions:

POOLE, United Kingdom (BRAIN) — Muc-Off has released a specially treated Shimano Dura-Ace chain that it says offers reduced friction in race conditions and distances.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — SRAM is conducting a recall with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission of 7,000 Avid SD7 direct-pull rim brakes, sold in the aftermarket and as original equipment on an ElliptiGo model.

SAN FRANCISCO (BRAIN) — Spurcycle, best known for its U.S.-made handlebar bell, has nearly sold out of its first run of a new product, the Multi Pouch.

ZURICH, Switzerland (BRAIN) — MilKit, which sells a tubeless tire sealant valve system, is now launching a system to pressurize aluminum water bottles with air to inflate and seat tubeless tires. The Swiss company said its Booster system is less expensive than an air compressor and is portable.

LAS VEGAS (BRAIN) — Lezyne's new Digital Drive Family includes road, offroad, fat tire and suspension handpumps with a newly designed integrated digital pressure gauge. The line also includes a standalone digital pressure gauge.

LONDON (BRAIN) — Folding bike maker Brompton is recalling thousands of bikes — all bikes sold between April 2014 and May 2017 — to replace a bottom bracket that can fail.

The company announced the recall Thursday.

APTOS, Calif. (BRAIN) —Anthony Trujillo, who has worked as a staff and freelance engineer for many of the top bike suspension brands, has launched his own brand, Off Street Only.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Pro-Tec is working with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to recall about 4,600 City Lite and Street Lite adult multi-sport helmets. The CPSC said the buckle on the helmet fails to meet current federal safety standards, posing a risk of head injury.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (BRAIN) — Fatback new Corvus FLT is an updated version of its Corvus model.

The frame is more than 250 grams lighter and is 15% percent stiffer in the bottom bracket and head tube compared to the current Corvus, the company said.

LAS VEGAS (BRAIN) — Canadian power meter brand 4iiii introduced a new product at Interbike Wednesday: The Precision Podiiiium.

IRVINE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Handmade wheel maker Irwin Cycling is now offering its wheels in the U.S. The three-year-old company's wheels were previously available only in Australia, Europe and Asia.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Pedego Electric Bikes has announced its new Electric Trike.

The trike fits riders from 5 feet to more than 6 feet tall. It has a twist-and-go throttle or Pedal Assist to power the front wheel. The motor can power the trike up to 10 mph.

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (BRAIN) — SealSkinz will debut its new Super Thin and Super Thin Pro Socks at the upcoming Interbike show. The new socks are 33 percent lighter than SealSkinz' original "thin" socks due to a new eco-friendly bamboo inner layer, new outer yarns, and an improved knitting pattern.

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN) — Topeak unveiled a new bike case at Eurobike, the PakGo X. The case fits 650c and 700c road and TT bikes, and some hard tail mountain bikes.

SAVAGE, Minn. (BRAIN) — Wolf Tooth is offering a kit to convert RockShox's hydraulic Reverb dropper post remote to work with its cable-activated ReMote lever.
