LOS ANGELES (BRAIN) — Organizers of the Amgen Tour of California have announced the route of the 2014 edition of America's highest ranked stage race. This year's route progresses north to south from May 11 to May 18, covering 740 miles.

Dahon will continue dealer direct sales and service from its California office.

DUARTE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Quality Bicycle Products will become the only U.S. distributor of Dahon folding bikes and accessories, the companies announced Friday. Dahon will also continue to sell direct to dealers and provide parts and warranty support to dealers.

DENVER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Alchemy Bicycle Company is consulting with industry veteran Ben Serotta as it develops new retailer strategies. The company said it is developing a plan to help retailers increase profit margins, manage inventory and lower financial risk.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (BRAIN) — Expo space is now being sold for the 2014 Providence Cyclo-cross Festival. The Oct. 3-5 event includes Category 1 UCI racing the New England Builder's Ball, the Gran Fondo New England and more. The event is held at Providence's hostoric Roger Williams Park.

Gibb will be joining associate publisher Scott Leonard to help build online, print and sponsorship opportunities for the Gunnison, Colo.-based publication.
