Trek president John Burke wanted to say thanks to the industry’s leading advocate in Congress, Minnesota Rep. James Oberstar. So he gathered 400 industry members—most of them Trek retailers from across the country—and asked them to pony up $100 a head for Oberstar’s campaign.

Congrats to Giant inside sales rep Keith Ketterer, who set a new Masters World Hour Track Record on October 1. Ketterer set a new World Hour Record in the 50-54 age group, riding 45.386 kilometers—that’s 28.2015 miles—in one hour. The old record was 44.890 kilometers, or 27.8933 miles.

PETERBOROUGH, N.H. (BRAIN)—Eastern Mountain Sports has re-launched its e-commerce Web site, ems.com (click on link).
