VICENZA, Italy—The Shimano Europe sales office has teamed up with Dainese to distribute the Italian brand of protective gear.

On Wednesday, Shimano became the exclusive distributor of the Dainese bike collection in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, France, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Beginning January 1, 2010, Magura USA will assume the entire distribution of Vaude Bike Sports products. Effective immediately, Magura will be responsible for all summer 2010 pre-orders.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (BRAIN)—The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Norco, has issued a voluntary recall on about 3,600 frames.

The bicycle frame can crack and separate, causing a rider to fall from the bicycle and suffer injuries.
