SEATTLE (BRAIN) — A René Herse Cycles gravel bikepacking tire with a tread designed to minimize noise has won a Design & Innovation Award in the European program's road components category.

ROSEVILLE, Minn. (BRAIN) — HED Cycling is now offering a polished silver edition of its Emporia GA Pro gravel wheels. 

The wheels feature the same 25mm-internal width rims as the Emporia GA Pro. HED says the rim is designed to pair with a ride range of gravel tires without pinching the tire sidewalls. 

The original Live Valve system has various sensors, but none on the crank.

Fox Factory may be adding crankarm sensors to its Live Valve suspension control system. Besides the performance advantage, the company is angling to bolster its presence in the OE market through component bundling.

PETALUMA, Calif. (BRAIN) — The new Marin Alpine Trail Carbon is a 29-inch wheel carbon trail bike with geometry taken from Marin's popular 2021 Alpine Trail range of aluminum bikes. 

Marin said the Alpine Trail Carbon "is the strongest and stiffest Alpine Trail to date."

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Burley Design is recalling about 780 Dash X FM child bicycle seats because a piece that holds the seat in place can detach, making the seat unstable. The CPSC said Burley has not received any reports of injuries as a result of the problem.

Five partners are bringing out a pedal that works with five platforms.
