MOAB, Utah (BRAIN) — After some considering, organizers of the Outerbike demos have decided to stick with their October dates for an event in Moab, even though the dates conflict with the re-secheduled Sea Otter Festival.
TAIPEI, Taiwan (BRAIN) — Organizers of Taipei Cycle, the trade show originally scheduled to be held this month, have canceled a subsitute event that had been scheduled for mid-May.

OLD FORT, N.C. (BRAIN) — A year ago, Kitsbow Cycling Apparel committed to a goal of eventually manufacturing all clothes domestically. To help achieve that, Kitsbow relocated from Petaluma, California, to Old Fort in December.

MONTRÉAL (BRAIN) — Dorel Sports is reporting flat revenues in the fourth quarter and 2.9% growth for the full year 2019. Dorel Sports is the parent of Cycling Sports Group, Pacific Cycle Group and Caloi. Its bike brands include Cannondale, GT, Fabric and Guru Cycling.

SAN FRANCISCO (BRAIN) — With the Sea Otter Classic shifted from April to October, brands are coming up with new product launch plans. Among the more ambitious approaches: a live-streaming global media conference planned by ECHOS Communications.

SHARPSBURG, Pa. (BRAIN) — Mountain Bike Hall of Famer and Dirt Rag co-founder Elaine Tierney launched a GoFundMe campaign Tuesday to bring a line of bike, yoga and hiking clothes to the market.

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — PeopleForBikes entered 2020 with momentum toward eventually getting universal e-bike legislation passed in every state.

MONTEREY, Calif. (BRAIN) — The 2020 Sea Otter Classic will be held here the first weekend in October, organizers announced Tuesday. The event had originally been scheduled for April but was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (BRAIN) — An Astoria, N.Y. man who is legally blind is the lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit filed against Louis Garneau USA. The suit alleges the Vermont-based company's website is not compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act.
BALTIMORE (BRAIN) — The League of American Bicyclists has canceled its National Bike Summit, which had been scheduled for March 15-17, because of COVID-19 concerns.

PITTSBURGH (BRAIN) — Net sales at Dick's Sporting Goods increased 4.7% for the fourth quarter, compared to the same time last year, and 3.7% for 2019.
Fourth-quarter net sales were $2.61 billion for the period ending Feb. 1. For 2019, net sales were $8.8 billion, compared to $8.4 billion for 2018.
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (BRAIN) — The Peak Content Summit, a content marketing and strategy conference, is scheduled to start Wednesday despite the rash of industry show postponements because of the growing COVID-19 threat.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (BRAIN) — The Bentonville Bike Fest has been moved from May to August because of health concerns and travel restrictions created by COVID-19.
The three-day event was scheduled for May 1-3 and now will be held Aug. 7-9.
