WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Pacific Cycle is recalling its Igniter and Bubble Pop 20-inch kids' bikes because of a fall hazard involving the handlebar.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — The Consumer Product Safety Commission is working with Gyroor, a Chinese e-bike maker, to recall about 3,000 Gyroor C3 e-bikes because the battery packs can ignite. 

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — The Consumer Product Safety Commission is conducting a recall with eWheels, the importer of Gotway and Begode electric unicycles, because the products' lithium-ion batteries can ignite.

SEYMOUR, Conn. (BRAIN) — Thule Group is working with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administation and Canadian authorities to recall three models of bike carriers. 

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — After issuing "stop-ride" notices in August and September to some e-bike owners, Rad Power Bikes is now working with the Consumer Product Safety Commission to conduct a recall on what appears to be the same issue. Almost 30,000 bikes are involved in the recall.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Bike USA Inc. is recalling its Punisher adult cycling helmets because they do not comply with the CPSC's positional stability and impact attenuation requirements, according to a press release from CPSC.  

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Ancheer is recalling about 22,000 e-bikes, sold by e-commerce sites including aliexpress, amazon.com, eBay and others because the bikes' lithium-ion batteries can ignite, explode, or spark.

SEATTLE (BRAIN) — Swift Industries is recalling about 1,800 rubber straps that were sold with some of its bike bags and separately this year. The company has received 129 reports of the straps breaking.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Rockgeist Bikepack USA is recalling about 420 BarJam Brackets, which allow cyclists to attach gear or bags to handlebars, because they can crack or break during use.

The company received three reports of incidents of the brackets breaking and cracking. No injuries have been reported.

Recalled ST31 LT Stem in Black.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Cervélo recalled its 2022 R5 and Caledonia-5 bikes and its ST31 LT replacement stems because the handlebars can slip in the stem, posing a fall hazard.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Specialized Bicycle Components expanded its battery pack recall from last year for first-generation Turbo Levo and Kenevo mountain bikes manufactured between 2017-20

WATERLOO, Wis. (BRAIN) — Trek Bicycle is recalling all 2022 Speed Concept SLR models, 2021-2022 Emonda SLR models, and Bontrager Aeolus RSL VR-C handlebars/stems sold as an aftermarket product.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Sakar International has recalled Tony Hawk Silver Metallic Multi-Purpose Helmets because they can fail to protect in the event of a crash, posing a risk of head injury.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Brompton Electric Folding Bicycles is recalling some 16-inch models because the front mudguard is positioned too close to the wheel.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Santa Cruz Bicycles has recalled some 2022 Heckler 9 E-MTBs because the latch securing the battery pack can fail, allowing it to dislodge from the frame and creating a fire hazard.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Commencal is recalling about 925 of its Ramones 14-inch kids bikes because of a crash hazard involving the brakes.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Segway is recalling about 960 Ninebot kids bike helmets because they do not comply with the positional stability and retention system requirements of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's standard for bike helmets.

(BRAIN) — Brompton Electric issued a recall Monday on all of its e-bikes to replace the front mudguard stay to increase tire clearance and a more secure latch to prevent excessive battery bag movement that can result in disconnections.

Recalled Specialized Bicycle Components Sirrus X 4.0 Bicycle.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Specialized Bicycle Components notified the Consumer Product Safety Commission that it is expanding the Sirrus model bike recall because of a fall and injury hazard regarding the alloy cranks.

2021 Giant Cypress DX.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Giant Bicycle has recalled some 2021 Giant and Liv adult bikes because the adjustable stem can loosen and pose a fall and injury hazard.

The recall includes the Giant Cypress DX, Giant Escape 3 Comfort, Liv Flourish FS 1, and Liv Alight 3 Comfort.
