FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN)–Klaus Wellman, Messe Friedrichshafen’s chief executive officer, said Eurobike’s first day set an attendance record with more than 12,750 people packing the trade show halls. That figure was more than a 10 percent increase over last year’s opening day, which also set a record.

ORLANDO, FL (BRAIN)—A spate of high-profile lawsuits over quick releases, along with a New Jersey legislator who wants to ban them, is forcing the industry to reexamine its traditional quick-release designs.

In the "North Shore Is Proving Ground for Suppliers" story that ran on page 83 of the Sept 1 issue, Kona's Mark Peterson wasn't quoted for the story. The correct attribution was Mark Peterman, director of product at GT Bicycles.
